Crockenhill Village Hall Management Committee – registered charity number 302724

Built from local fundraising the Village Hall opened in 1958 and has been a popular venue for weddings, family functions, fundraising events and public meetings for the last 50 years. Located in the centre of the village, opposite the village green and close to the Parish Church, this hall is available for hire 6 days a week.  Crockenhill Village Hall is held in Trust and administered by a Management Committee who when registered as a charity, number 302724, became Trustees.

The role of the Crockenhill Management Committee is to raise sufficient funds in order to manage the day to day running of the Village Hall in accordance with statutory rules and regulations and as per the administration clauses contained within the Trust deed as laid down by its founders.

The objects of the Charity are that the Hall should be made available “For use of Crockenhill and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political religious or other opinions and in particular for use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitant”.

Crockenhill Village Hall Management Committee, meet on the third Wednesday of every month, at the Village Hall, at 7.30pm . The AGM is held prior to the April monthly meeting. All residents of Crockenhill and regular hirers are welcome to attend.
